Objectives and admission

Learning objectives:
- To gain basic knowledge of high-mountain plant ecology: a complex, limiting environment in which plants have particularly relevant, revealing life strategies.
- The singularity of flora and vegetation in the Pyrenees at regional scale and the fact that bachelor's degree and postgraduate courses do not address this topic in depth have led to a second objective: to gain a basic understanding of the plant environment in the Pyrenees.

Recommended applicant profiles and admission requirements:
- Graduates in Biology or Environmental Sciences.
- Students of master's degrees in Biodiversity or Ecology (or similar).
- Doctoral students.

Admission for applicants not holding a degree qualification:
Students who are not university graduates may be admitted on these courses. These students will be eligible for a university extension course certificate.Information regarding the entry requirements in this case can be obtained from the course coordinators.
