Learning objectives:
- To learn and understand the main determinants of world health, with a particular emphasis on the most disadvantaged populations from countries with middle and low incomes.
- Understand how recognition of social determinants of heath could improve the formulation and application of policies and programmes.

Recommended applicant profiles and admission requirements:
University degree holders. with training, experience or interest in international or global health or health determinants.

Admission for applicants not holding a degree qualification:
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
