Objectives and admission

Learning objectives:
- Learn in depth the anthropological, philosophical and theological elements of aesthetics of the Christian matrix.
- Acquire training as specialists in the management and dissemination of ecclesiastical cultural heritage and assess the development of the Church, considering the artistic heritage of the Christian tradition.

Main objectives:
- Consider the heritage of the Church globally, and be able to explain symbolic and technical aspects.
- Know how to explain ecclesiastical heritage from the perspective of the Christian mystery, guarantee the conservation of this cultural good and possibly adapt it as a tourism resource, by constructing a well-founded, proprietary discourse.
- Gain the capacity to teach, in higher education centres, undertake scientific research and direct cultural institutions in the civil and ecclesiastical spheres.
- Learn the methods and instruments of scientific research and how to use them properly, and learn rich educational methodology for teaching the historical sciences.

University degree holders

Admission for applicants not holding a degree qualification:
Students who are not university graduates may be admitted on these courses. These students will be eligible for a university extension course certificate.Information regarding the entry requirements in this case can be obtained from the course coordinators.
