Learning objectives:
- To acquire knowledge of the most advanced, innovative systems and techniques of analysis, calculation, design and execution of metal and mixed structures, with a focus on practice.
- To acquire the skills needed to identify the particularities of a structure for decision-making in calculations and deepen knowledge of engineering.
- To acquire the attitudes and expertise to develop projects with the necessary quality, adjusting to the requirements and specifications of the client, at the minimum cost and designing structures taking into account current international regulations, processes and sustainable solutions.

Recommended applicant profiles and admission requirements:
Professionals from the world of engineering and architecture who want to develop their careers within the field of structural engineering and embark successfully on projects involving the use of metallic and mixed structures.

Their motivation will be the desire to expand and develop their knowledge beyond the contents acquired in their respective undergraduate degrees.

Admission for applicants not holding a degree qualification:
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
