Learning objectives:
The master's degree in Orthopedics for Pharmacists at the University of Barcelona is organised jointly with the Pharmacists Association of Barcelona (COFB). It trains pharmacists as technicians who can adapt and make orthopedic products to order (RD 437/2002 of 10 May).
The general objective of the master's degree is to gain the knowledge and practical skills required to make, adapt and correctly dispense orthopedic articles. At the same time, the course focuses on the types of materials and documentation required in each case to dispense orthopedic articles in accordance with current legislation.
Recommended applicant profiles and admission requirements:
Graduates in pharmacy.
Access requirements: priority is given to graduates in Pharmacy whose professional activity is associated with the course contents.

Observations: The teaching methodology is flexible, as the student can select the course format that best suits his/her needs: face-to-face or blended. Both formats ensure the same theoretical training (participative and dynamic, whether from home or in the classroom) and opt for face-to-face practical sessions, which are essential to the training.
