PUBLIC POLICIES, SOCIAL RIGHTS AND SUSTAINABILITY (2022-2023)
Learning objectives:
- To acquire a quality training in public policy for social rights. Suitable for graduates in: political science, law, public management administration, sociology, social work, social education, social integration, social psychology, social communication, social journalism, business administration and management, social economics, social anthropology, social history, social education, social philosophy, industrial relations, security, criminology or humanities.
- To acquire the training needed to work as a public official, deputy director, middle manager, head of service, head of section or similar position; to become a technician or other public employee; or an NGO, organizational or third-sector manager or professional, advisor, analyst or consultant.
- To learn to be a qualified expert in new employment scenarios, focusing on professional skills for the design, direction, regulation and management of public policies and services in the area of social action.
Recommended applicant profiles and admission requirements:
People from the fields of: sociology, political science, law and jurisprudence, learning and education sciences, and business and organizational management.
Admission for applicants not holding a degree qualification:
Students who are not university graduates may be admitted on these courses. These students will be eligible for a university extension course certificate.Information regarding the entry requirements in this case can be obtained from the course coordinators.
