Learning objectives:
The master's degree in Writing Audiovisual Scripts offers specialized training that results in highly qualified scriptwriters. When students of the master's degree complete their training, they are fully prepared to create and work on audiovisual projects in the areas of fiction, documentaries and/or programmes for entertainment.
- From an approach that covers all kinds of audiovisual discourses, based on the methodology of 'learning by doing' or, in this specific case, writing, to gain a multi-faceted profile that goes beyond cinema.
- To gain essential theoretical knowledge and practical experience in writing, analysing and re-writing scripts as an essential way to attain excellence, as in the professional world.
- At all times, students can rely on the skill, supervision and support of teaching staff, made up of recognised scriptwriters and university lecturers specialised in the audiovisual field.

Recommended applicant profiles and admission requirements:
- First, students of the bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication and Journalism from the University of Lleida and the bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Barcelona.
- Graduates with qualifications in areas of communication, languages and humanities, fine arts and philology, and other studies relating to audiovisual and literary creation who wish to work in the audiovisual world.

Admission for applicants not holding a degree qualification:
The course is also open to students with no prior university education, who will acquire the same knowledge and skills and receive a specific qualification for their learner group. Information on the access requirements and other conditions can be obtained from the course directors.
