The course Starting up a start-up has the objective to promote the entrepreneurial competences of students interested in creating their own company in the audiovisual sector. This course presents the Mediterranean, from a historical perspective and for a non-specialist audience, as a region shaped by interconnected routes and the circulation of people, objects, ideas and practices as a result of mobility and interaction between cultures. The course's entertaining yet rigorous analysis of life in the Mediterranean between the 15th and 19th centuries, from the Renaissance to the Enlightenment, focuses on the western part of the region, which was the scene of social, economic, political and cultural transfer and exchange. The Iberian and Italian peninsulas and the islands lying between them were particularly dynamic in that respect.

Introductory course for entrepreneurs who wish to start a business project minimizing the risks, which are quite a few. The centre of the entrepreneurial process is the entrepreneur, who needs not be Superman, but must follow their common sense and strong determination. The rewards that come with entrepreneurship are many: working to follow your dreams and not other people's; being your own boss; having your own company and creating wealth and jobs for those around you. The course is divided in two parts. The first one focuses on the entrepreneur and their idea, the creation of a team, searching for minimum resources and the generation and validation of a Business Model. The second part deals with the creation of a company, writing a Business Plan and searching for sources of finance.
