Basic information about the grant or financial aid

Definition of the grant

The equity grant is a means-tested award intended to cover part of the cost of enrolment for official university studies.

Aimed at:

Students enrolled in bachelor's degrees, first- and second-cycle undergraduate degrees and master's degree courses that qualifies for competent professional practice.

Basic requirements:

Applicants must be Spanish nationals or, in the case of foreign nationals, be able to demonstrate that either the applicant or one of the principal earners in the family unit worked in Spain during 2016. In addition, citizens of non-EU countries must hold a valid residency permit.

Applicants must not exceed the stipulated family income or property thresholds.

Students already in possession of an official university qualification or how have completed all of the credits required for award of their qualification are not eligible to apply.
