Open registration for the course "How to build healthy social-emotional relationships? 'Cuidaʼt, cuida'"
The registration period for the course Com construir relacions socioafectives sanes? Cuidaʼt, cuida is open from October 8 to 17. This is the third edition of the course organized by the Equality Unit of the UB, in collaboration with Equality commissions from the different centers and the support from Barcelona City Council. The aim is to provide students with tools to develop their sexual and emotional relationships in a healthy way. Registration is free and can be carried out online (here) and participation accounts for 1 ECTS credit.
The project is developed in two steps. The first one consists of three training sessions, to be hold in morning and afternoon shifts, on October 22, 24 and 29 in Sala de Graus at the Faculty of Philology. Feminist economics, problems of hegemonic masculinity, or how masculine and feminine socialization affects people when setting healthy sexual-emotional relationship are some of the topics to be covered. The second phase, as a complementary area for the received training, will promote a photography contest via Twitter, to take place from October 31 to November 11. Images, related to building healthy sexual-emotional relationships, have to have a caption and the tag #CuidatCuidaUB18. Each participant can submit as many tweets as s/he wants, but can only submit one tweet in the contest.
The closing ceremony of the project and award ceremony will take place on November 23, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Violence -commemorated on the 25th. The winning tweet will receive a 100 euros cheque to buy books at Pròleg bookstore.
