DOCfield Barcelona festival at the University of Barcelona

From November 8 to December 9, the Historical Building will host two exhibitions of the documentary photography festival DOCfield Barcelona. In Pati de Lletres you will find the exhibition from the official section "Beneït és el fruit: la guerra sagrada dels ventres irlandesos" by Olivia Harris, exploring the consequences of abortion law in Ireland, one of the most restrictive ones worldwide, which was abolished in May 2018. Also, in Pati de Lletres you will find the exhibition, in collaboration with Photogenic Festival, "De l'Ombra a la llum", an exhibition of portraits taken by Maria Espeus to women who suffered gender violence.

There will be guided tours by the authors on November 9.
