Exhibition: “Explorant el fred”

Around twenty photographs of Antarctica's iced landscape, its fauna and how researchers work there, create the exhibition "Explorant el fred". This exhibition is organized by the Antarctic, Arctic and Alpine Environments Research Group (ANTALP) and many of its photographs are taken by the members of the group. ANTALP does research in the planet's cold regions to understand the changes that are taking place as a consequence of climate change, from a pluridisciplinary perspective and a special emphasis on geomorphology, permafrost and geoecology. 

"Explorant el fred", sponsored by AXA Research Fund, is a mobile exhibition; after being in the UB, it will be moved to the University of Oviedo and the Complutense University of Madrid. It is part of the project Antarctica in Iberia, which includes talks and dissemination activities on doing science in the austral continent of the planet.
