Activity framed in the commemoration acts for the centenary of the International Astronomical Union (IAU). To commemorate this milestone, IAU is organizing activities during the year and promotes different international astronomical projects under the motto "100 years: Under One Sky". 

The astronomical observations will take place on these days:

Thursday, January 10, 2019, in avinguda Diagonal, in front of the gardens of Palau de Pedralbes (Barcelona).

  • 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.: observation of the sun
  • 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.: observation of the moon

Friday, January 11, 2019, in plaça Universitat, in front of the Historical Building of the University of Barcelona. 

  • 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.: observation of the sun
