Academic ceremony to pay homage to Dr. Ramon Parés i Farràs (1927-2018)
Homage to Dr. Ramon Parés i Farràs, first professor of Microbiology of the UB, who passed away in September 2018. Participants are the rector of the UB, Joan Elias; the dean of the Faculty of Biology, Rosina Gironès; the president of the Royal Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona, Joan Jofre, and the president of the Institute for Catalan Studies, Joandomènec Ros, together with retired professors and active ones of the Faculty of Biology, and the biologist Núria Parés, daughter of Ramon Parés, among others.
