Exhibition: “100 anys del descobriment del protó. Rutherford, pare de la física nuclear”
The next exhibition by the Physics and Chemistry CRAI Library commemorates the hundred years o fthe experiment with which Rutheford created the first artificial nuclear reaction and discovered the proton.
The exhibition will open on November 27, at 12 noon in the Aula Magna Enric Casassas at the faculties of Physics and Chemistry. The activity will also offer the theatre play Cent anys després, written by the lecturer from the Department of Condensed Matter Physics, Enric Pérez Canals. Several members from the Faculty of Physics will participate in the staging of the play, which treats the social perception of science after some discoveries from 1919.
