Academical

Webinar by Jofre Carnicer, lecturer at the Department of Evolutionary Biology, Ecology and Environmental Sciences of the UB. Many leading international universities, like Harvard, Cambridge and Oxford, are committed to reduce their emissions until reaching neutrality in an horizon from 10 to 30 years. What about the UB? What are the emissions and priority actions to mitigate climate change? What is the necessary budget to reach a carbon-neutral university by 20150? The aim of this webinar is to analyze how new online learning schemes, resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, can contribute to reduce global emissions of the UB.

The webinar is part of the work line of the University regarding the sustainable developmental goals (SDGs) and is specially aimed at people in charge of teaching activities of the UB.
