Pride Week at the University
June 28 celebrates the International Day of LGBT Pride. This year, on the occasion of this celebration, several universities organized a joint program online about the Pride, together with the state work group of LGBT Diverseity at the universities, in which the UB takes part. The initiative goes together with the awareness campaign "SOMOS HETERO(GÉNEAS)", which aims to show LBT women diversity.
There is a program through the whole week full of activities: there will be roundtables during the morning, while afternoon talks will be conversations between two people from different institutions regarding the LGBT reality at the university. The UB is represented by Diego Marchante, lecturer of Fine Arts and president of the Equality Comission of the same Facculty, and will participate in the roundtable "Investigacions universitàries LGTBI en marxa". It will take place on Wednesday, June 24, at 12 noon. Other participants are Maite Soto (UAB), José María Valcuende (UPO), Miquel Oltra (UVEG) and Josan Langarita (UdG).
