European Researchers' Night
The University of Barcelona joins the European Researchers' Night with several activities. The Scientific and Culture Unit (UCC+i) is organizing, on the 23rd, a series of six science cafés. The two morning sessions are aimed at high school students, and the four afternoon sessions are aimed at the general audience. There is limited room capacity and previous registration through a form is required for each activity.
The Institute of Cosmos Sciences offers two activities. The first one is a workshop titled "La matèria i lʼexistència dels quarks", to take place on Thursday 23, at 11:00 a.m. in Auditori Barradas, by the members of the Group on Hadronic Physics of the UB. To attend the activity please send an email to pessicsdeciencia@gmail.com. The second activity is a roundtable for all audiences, titled "El siglo de la gravedad. Agujeros negros y ondas gravitacionales", to take place in Casa Golferichs on September 23, at 6:30 p.m. The activity is free but previous registration is required.
