CUSC Seminar on Sociolinguistics and Language Policy: “Anàlisi del discurs i multimodalitat”
The CUSC Seminar on Sociolinguistics and Language Policy is a place for thought and debate on theoretical and methodological aspects of sociolinguistics, language policy and related disciplines, and ongoing studies on these fields carried out by researchers at CUSC and at other universities and research centres.
The sessions will be held once per month, online, and will be free. These are open to researchers and the general audience interested in the intersection between language and society. The attendance during the academic year is recognized as a training activity, certified by the Institute of Professional Development of the University of Barcelona.
The seminar of the academic year 2021/2022 will be open by Lluís Payrató, professor at the Department of Catalan Philology and General Linguistics.
