The impact of COVID-19 on botany studies is the main core of the content of this working session, which will identify and analyze the resources and new methodologies created in the times of a health crisis at the universities of the Vives Network.

The session will show the results and the future challenges of the REDICE-2020-ESPECIAL COVID-19 project, given to the Teaching Innovation Group in Botany Applied to Pharmaceutical Sciences of the UB (GIBAF) in the research program on university teaching (REDICE). Through the teaching experience, this collaborative project has analysed the adaptation process of each participating university in the online training models as well as its durability as a driving change in the redesign of the involved subjects.

Jordi Matas, vice-rector for Institutional Relations, Communication and Language Policy of the UB and member of the Permanent Commission of the Xarxa Vives d'Universitats (Vives Network), and Maria Rosa Buxarrais, director of the Institute of Professional Development (IDP-ICE) of the UB, will take part in the session opening. Concepció Amat, vice-rector for Teaching Policy, and Roser Bono, head of the Section of Research at IDP-ICE, will close the sessions.
