Annual session of the Energy Transition Chair promoted by the UB and Repsol Foundation
The session will focus on the knowledge of nature-based solutions (NBS), that is, actions inspired on the natural world that use or improve the existing solutions to deal with several environmental, social and economic challenges in a sustainable and efficient way. In a context where the climate change is a first world problem, the NBS are presented as an efficient and sustainable option to deal with the environmental problems, with a fundamental role in the transition towards a decarbonized economy.
Among the participants will be Almudena Eizaguirre, general manager of Deusto Business School Executive Education; Antonio Brufau, president of Repsol; Miguel Hernández, director of Sustainability at Institut Cerdà, and Mariano Marzo, professor at the Department of Earth and Ocean Dynamics of the Faculty of Earth Sciences of the UB and director of the Energy Transition Chair promoted by the UB and Repsol Foundation. The session will be chaired by Massimo Cermelli, lecturer at Deusto Business School.
