Exhibition: "Exploració, ciència i aventura"

This exhibition offers a journey through some of the expeditions that have marked the evolution of scientific knowledge about the natural environment, based on bibliographic documents from the collection of the CRAI Biology Library.

The exhibition, which is organised according to geographical criteria, is divided into seven blocks defined according to the number of CRAI documents relating to the scientific exploration of each area. There are several sections dedicated to the history of expeditions that have explored the following territories: Antarctica, South America, the Galapagos Islands (studied since Charles Darwin's voyage on board the Beagle), Africa, the Malay Archipelago, the Northwest Passage, and the world's seas and oceans.
