New ISGlobal-UB Master of Global Health
The UB and the Global Health Institute Barcelona (ISGlobal) will offer from next September on a Master of Global Health, a unique program in the Mediterranean area. The training program, linked to the Faculty of Medicine of the UB, will provide a solid grounding in fundamental aspects of public health and will cover questions such as the influence of health economics and financing, health systems, and policy and international governance in global health.
The Master is co-directed by Núria Casamitjana, professor of the UBʼs Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutic Chemistry, and the researcher Ned Hayes. Both Casamitjana and Hayes belong to the Barcelona Centre for International Health Research (CRESIB), assigned to the health campus of the University of Barcelona (HUBc).
