The UB is the third most valued Spanish university by this yearʼs ranking “50 carreras” of the newspaper El Mundo. The UB is the recommended university according to this ranking to study Chemistry (the first university among all the centres offering this degree in Spain), Fine Arts, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, History and Medicine (the second recommended university in Spain), Sport and Exercise Sciences, Social Education, Art History, Nutrition and Dietary Science and Psychology (the third place in Spain). Other university degrees in which the UB achieves a good position are Biology, Physics and Dentistry (in the fourth place of the ranking), and Nursing, Mathematics, Education and Social Work (in the fifth place).

The UB is the third most valued Spanish university by this yearʼs ranking “50 carreras” of the newspaper El Mundo. The UB is the recommended university according to this ranking to study Chemistry (the first university among all the centres offering this degree in Spain), Fine Arts, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, History and Medicine (the second recommended university in Spain), Sport and Exercise Sciences, Social Education, Art History, Nutrition and Dietary Science and Psychology (the third place in Spain). Other university degrees in which the UB achieves a good position are Biology, Physics and Dentistry (in the fourth place of the ranking), and Nursing, Mathematics, Education and Social Work (in the fifth place).

The universities of Madrid and of Barcelona together with public affiliated ones are the best positioned in this ranking. The first five universities are: the Complutense University of Madrid, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, the University of Barcelona, the Autonomous University of Madrid and the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
