The work, led by professor of Personality Psychology at the UB Josep Maria Tous Ral, is based on the fact that current psychology studies, as part of the so-called neurosciences, do not restrict the information processing to the conscious mind. In this regard, the opinion of oneself predicts some of the individual behaviour, to the extent that a person tries to behave according to what they believe to be, however, this intentional behaviour only accounts for a small fraction of what we really do.
