Then, Miguel Morey pronounces the speech “Locura y trastorno mental desde la perspectiva de Foucault” and, finally, Joseba Achotegui gives the speech “La vigencia de la obra de Foucault en la sociedad de la información y el DSM”.

Michel Foucault is a 20th-centruy French philosopher. The validity of his work increases every day. It combines different subject areas like history, psychology or philosophy, even if he always considered himself “an archaeologist of knowledge”. He studied and denounced how the normalization exerted by the power is the result of misunderstanding being different with being ill.

The event is broadcast live on the portal UBtv.
