Last year, more than 40,000 students who received an Erasmus scholarship selected Spain to study or train abroad. In other words, Spain is the European country that receives the highest number of Erasmus students. The University of Barcelona (UB) is one of the ten European universities that hosted the highest number of Erasmus students; it hosted a total of 1,103. Our University classifies ninth in the ranking elaborated by the European Commission.

Our University classifies ninth in the ranking elaborated by the European Commission.

 

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), with 887 students, and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC), with 746, are located at positions 20 and 31 respectively. The Spanish university that hosts the highest number of Erasmus students is the University of Granada, with 1,959 students, followed by the University of Valencia, with 1,702. The other three most popular destinations are Germany, France and the United Kingdom.
