The capacity of the Sala Horiginal was not enough to host all the people who attended the phylosophical cabaret Preferiría no pensarlo that took place on 20 November within the festival Barcelona Pensa, organised by the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Barcelona. Lecturers and students of Spanish participated in the dramatization of some texts focused on the concept of truth. “After Plato —affirm organizers—, no one has really known what to do with it (the truth). The aim of the performance was to stage some texts which are not written to be staged. The opportunity to bring them to the theatre enabled us to be sarcastic, to go deeper into their meaning, to bring them closer to the audience in a completely different way and to arouse people’s curiosity about a certain author or work.
