Lecocqʼs research activity, supervised by Professor Esther Hormiga, answers questions such as how to integrate social innovation in business management and what benefits may it have. Lecocq has been awarded a stay in Abu Dabi and the UB has received 2,000 euros for being the higher education institution that has trained the student.

This year the UB offers the eight edition of the masterʼs degree in Creation and Management of Innovative Technology-Based Companies. Its main objective is to provide students with an advanced level of training in the creation of new companies and the management of innovation processes in any kind of organization (development of new products, management of R&D departments or coordination of innovation programmes). The coordinator of the masterʼs degree, Claudio Cruz, affirms that most masterʼs students come from other countries and points out that several companies have been created within masterʼs studies.
