The UB involves students in the fight against gender violence
The deadline to join the project “La UB contra la violència masclista: uneix-t'hi de deBò!” is 23 September 2015. The Gender Equality Unit of the UB and the gender equality committees at UB faculties have set up this project in order to raise studentsʼ awareness and create a corporate culture against gender violence.
The deadline to join the project “La UB contra la violència masclista: uneix-t'hi de deBò!” is 23 September 2015. The Gender Equality Unit of the UB and the gender equality committees at UB faculties have set up this project in order to raise studentsʼ awareness and create a corporate culture against gender violence.
The project —supported by the Barcelona City Council— has different phases. First, at the end of September, it will be presented to the general public. Then, on 2 October, participating students attend the training session and they are able to work on their projects until 2 November. Finally, on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, projects are presented.
The best project will receive €250 and a diploma. Registration is free and participation is recognized with 1.5 ECTS credits.
