Six new films are now part of the collection entitled Divulgadors made in UB, created by La UB Divulga after the Science Communicators Meeting from last July 2015. The aim of the collection, which is expected to grow, is to share the dissemination activities carried out by some of the researchers of the University, as well as their research lines.

The new six films -apart from the other five from last year- can be seen in the website of the Scientific Disseminators Meeting and UBtv. The disseminators have different profiles and therefore, the themes of the films are diverse: Ricardo Graciano, from the Department of Quantum Physics and Astrophysics, talks about his involvement in the CODE project (Collaborative Education); Josep Maria Cortés, from the Department of Sociology, talks about his research on the Catalan technopolis; Martí Ruiz, from the Department of  Visual Arts and Design, proposes sound structure as interdisciplinary and interactive source for dissemination, sensitivity and participation; Giorgi Khazaradze, from the Department of Earth and Ocean Dynamics, tells why he studies earthquakes; Jaume Llopis shares his passion for statistics, and Sònia Arnés, invited speaker for this yearʼs Meeting, comments on why FECYT is a key tool for the promotion of scientific and technologic culture and innovation.

These films are added to the ones by Nereida Bueno (Department of Psychiatry and Clinical Psychobiology), Albert Santasusagna (Department of Physical Geography and Regional Geographical Analysis), Jordi Díaz (Scientific and Technological Centers of the University of Barcelona), Sònia Estradé (Department of Electronics), and José Manuel López Nicolás (invited speaker for 2015ʼs Meeting).

This initiative has the financial support of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) - Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.
