One hundred people take part in the guided botany tours organized by La UB Divulga
One hundred people took part in some of the guided botany tours that La UB Divulga had programmed for this autumn at the gardens of the Agustí Pedro i Pons Villa and Ferran Soldevila garden of the Historical Building of the University of Barcelona. The activity ended with successful participation.
The experts Ramon Maria Masalles, emeritus professor of Botany at the Faculty of Biology and member of the Biodiversity Research Institute (IRBio), and César Blanché, professor at the Department of Biology, Healthcare and Environment and also member of IRBio. They were the ones in charge of the activities, aiming to bring botany closer to general public and share the relevant aspects of this discipline.
The organization is done by the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+i) of the Communication Unit of the University of Barcelona, with the financial support of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness - Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology.
