The vice-president of Generalitat de Catalunya, Oriol Junqueras, the rector of the University of Barcelona, Joan Elias, and the city mayor of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Núria Perlon, visited the Food and Nutrition Torribera Campus, as part of a visit to the city of Santa Coloma. Torribera holds one of the two campuses that form the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences of the UB, and one of the strategic spots for the project Santa Coloma, ciutat universitària, promoted by the city council.

The vice-president of Generalitat de Catalunya, Oriol Junqueras, the rector of the University of Barcelona, Joan Elias, and the city mayor of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Núria Perlon, visited the Food and Nutrition Torribera Campus, as part of a visit to the city of Santa Coloma. Torribera holds one of the two campuses that form the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences of the UB, and one of the strategic spots for the project Santa Coloma, ciutat universitària, promoted by the city council.

Junqueras saw the main projects of this campus, apart from visiting the facilities and research laboratories in the different buildings of Torribera, as well as the head office of the Nutrition and Food Safety Research Institute (INSA-UB).

The visit counted with the attendance of Natàlia Mas, director general of Economic Analysis in Generalitat, and Josep Boatella, director of the Food and Nutrition Torribera Campus, apart from the vice-deans of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Food Sciences María Izquierdo, Pilar Pérez and Josefa Badia.
