Gaia DPAC Consortium Meeting in Sitges
Between the 23rd and 27th of January, Sitges will hold the second Gaia DPAC Consortium Meeting of the European Space Agency (ESA). The event, organized by the team of Gaia of ICCUB (UB-IEEC) gathers around 170 scientists, members of the consortium. The meeting will determine the next steps for the Gaia mission, which aims to get the most precise 3D map of our galaxy. It will also review the first scientific GAIA results, published on September 14, and will debate on the preparation for the second data publication.
