Tribute to Professor María Jesús Montoro
Last Friday December 15, the Saló de Graus room of the Faculty of Law held the tribute to María Jesús Montoro Chiner, professor of Administrative Law, on the occasion of her academic retirement. Professor Tomàs Font, head of the Department of Administrative Law and Procedural Law, went through Montoro's academic activity, he highlighted she was the first woman to teach Administrative Law in Spain. Also, he put emphasis on her participation in consultative bodies. Afterwards, the lecturer Joaquín Tronos presented the tribute book to Montoro, a volume on the new laws and jurisdiction and administrative procedures of public administration. The lecturer Rafael Entrena, lecturer and friend of Montoro, took part in the event too, which was closed by the dean of the Faculty of Law, Xavier Pons.
