The Bosch i Gimpera Foundation reaches its 35 years as the UB Technology Transfer Office and therefore links the University with the business world in order to provide society with research results. FBG was created in 1983 as a tool to link the University and society, and since 1996 it has been acting as the Office for Innovation and Knowledge Transfer (OTRI). During its first year, FBG worked on 10 innovation projects under a cost of 480,000 euros. When finishing its activity in 2017, the Foundation had managed 810 projects worth 29,4 million euros. At the moment, FBG has 124 patents to transfer, and has licensed a total of 46 technologies during the period of 2015-2017.
