La UB al dia, a weekly newsletter to be sent via email to PAS and PDI collectives, replacing the former Novetats UB. The new internal communication channel will gather information of interest for each of the collectives every week, notifications regarding work and institutional projects and actions. It will also include the most significant scheduled activities, and if necessary, information on training courses and surveys.
La UB al dia, a weekly newsletter to be sent via email to PAS and PDI collectives, replacing the former Novetats UB. The new internal communication channel will gather information of interest for each of the collectives every week, notifications regarding work and institutional projects and actions. It will also include the most significant scheduled activities, and if necessary, information on training courses and surveys.
La UB al dia goes for participation, as Oriol Escardíbul, manager, says: "This initiative aims for the big groups of the UB to receive this information on time, in a clear way, which is essential for them to know about the launched projects, so that it favours everyone's involvement in the achievement of common objectives".
Also, the new newsletter is a step forward to fulfill the function of the University as a generator and communicator of knowledge. "Organizations, and specially the University, have to make an effort to assume communication -external commnication, which provides us with information and a positioning outside, and internal communication, which draws us together as a com munity- is not only a tool or a channel, as now presented, nor an objective, but it is part of our essence", states the rector, Joan Elias. "Without communication, the University would not fulfill any of its functions completely".
