Creating a consensus report to make a Common Training Framework and harmonize Podiatry studies in the European field was the main objective of the annual meeting of the European Council of Podiatrists (ECP), which was held on February 16 at the head office of the European Parliament, in Brussels, under the supervision of the current president of the ECP, Carles Vergés, lecturer from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and head of studies of the studies of Podiatry at the University of Barcelona.

Creating a consensus report to make a Common Training Framework and harmonize Podiatry studies in the European field was the main objective of the annual meeting of the European Council of Podiatrists (ECP), which was held on February 16 at the head office of the European Parliament, in Brussels, under the supervision of the current president of the ECP, Carles Vergés, lecturer from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and head of studies of the studies of Podiatry at the University of Barcelona.

Other participants of the session were the experts Matthew Garoufalis, president of the International Federation of Podiatrists (IFP), and Lieve Wierinck, member of the European Parliament. Within the framework of the program, M. Cristina Manzanares, lecturer from the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and secretary-general of the Association for Dental Education in Europe (ADEE), gave the conference “The creation of a competences set for dentistry, from the profile and competences to the graduating dentist”.
