The session started with an introduction by the rector, Joan Elias, and the director of ICE, Xavier Triadó. Then, a series of conferences commented on the participation of PDI and PAS on the management and professionalization of management, and a roundtable formed by the former rectors of the UB Joan Tugores, Màrius Rubiralta and Josep Samitier, analized the past, present and future of the governance of the university.

The next three sessions will treat the strategic management, communication techniques, and the cultural change management in complex organizations.
