Francisco Esteban, new vice-rector for Communication
Lecturer Francisco Esteban Bara, delegate of the rector at the UB Student Observatory up to this date, will take office as the new vice-rector for Communication on Thursday, January 31, at 12.30 noon, in the boardroom (sala de juntes) of the Rectorʼs Office. Francisco Esteban replaces Ernest Pons, vice-rector for Communication and Coordination until this date, who submitted his resignation for personal reasons. The Rector thanks Ernest Pons for his dedication during these two years.
Francisco Esteban Bara, doctor in Pedagogy and Philosophy, is a lecturer at the Department of Theory and History of Education of the UB. His research lines focus on the ethic training at the university and the philosophy of higher education, themes on which he has some publications in high impact journals. He is the author of the volumes ¿Quo vadis, Universidad? (UOC Editorial) and Ética del profesorado (Herder Editorial).
