This international ranking, which was published today, Wednesday, February 27, assesses the positioning of 1,222 institutions worldwide under a total of 48 disciplines related to the fields of knowledge of Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences and Business Management, Life Sciences and Medicine, Natural Sciences, Engineering and Technology.

The UB is listed among the top 100 universities worldwide in 17 out of the 48 disciplines of the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2019. In particular, these disciplines are Archaeology, Modern Languages, Philosophy, Agriculture, Anatomy and Physiology, Biological Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Pharmacology, Chemistry, Marine and Earth Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Anthropology, Education, Library and Information Management, Social Politics and Administration, and Sociology.
