Oriol Baró, from the IL3-UB higher university program on entrepreneruship, presented Liken Skis, unique for its quality skis. Clients can see the place where these are made, in the Catalan Pre-Pyrenees.

Héctor Linares received an accessit for Howabout, an app that enables joining leisure activities and offer new ones. Isaac Cos received a special mention for Lyric, an online app to recommend books and spread culture. The company LAP Funerals, presented by Laura Alocén, obtained an accessit for the task of treating the loss of loved ones as homage to create positive memories.

Premi Emprèn! UB has two categories: to the best entrepreneur idea or business pre-project and to the best recently created company. All candidates who participated received a training including individual sessions with a tutor, after which they presented their business plan. After that, the winners and the accessits were chosen. The winners of both categories receive a 3,000 euro prize; and accessits receive 1,000 euros. The amount of money of the prizes has to be spent on the business project.
