From July 8 to July 12, the Harvard Law School, in Cambridge (Massachusetts, USA), will hold the Health Policy Innovation Seminar: an executive seminar for clinicians and policy makers organized in collaboration with the University of Barcelona.

The objective of this seminar is to share the need to review health policies with the changes that are taking place in developed countries regarding the technological progress, the evolution of the role of patients and the role of associations of patients, among other aspects. The training proposal aims to contribute for the health professionals, in particular those in charge of the health plan and management, so that they can face and reflect in policies -the new challenges society faces, developing strategies that are adapted to the reality and the needs of those patients.

The seminar is directed and coordinated Antoni Trilla, professor of the University of Barcelona; María Dolores Navarro, lecturer at the International University of Catalonia; Rima Rudd, lecturer at Harvard School of Public Health; and Begoña Barragán, resident of the Spanish Group of Patients with Cancer (GEPAC).
