The University of Barcelona launches, as a pilot plan, the program Master+UB, a new model of grants for masterʼs degree students to recruit talent and promote scientific vocations. Students with good academic records can apply for these grants, which have a new format. There will be a total of fifty-seven grants, many of them have a length of eleven months, and a fifteen-hour per week dedication, accounting for 370 euros per month. The grantholders will collaborate in the research study of a research group of the UB and carry out, in the group, a research project to become their masterʼs degree final project. The economic aid offers the chance to enter a leading research environment and to conduct a research project in it.
