El Mundo analyses every year the fifty degrees in higher demand by students and outstands the top five universities in Spain, public or private ones, where to study those. The results of the listing are based on data obtained in the same universities (on the demand, the available resources, study syllabuses and the reached results, apart from other context data), surveys for lecturers and other objective indicators such as international rankings or the reports by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain (ANECA). Each of these aspects accounts for, respectively, a 50 %, 40 % and 10 % in the final results for each degree.
