The ub created new awards to honor the effort of upper secondary education students in learning and doing research, at the same time it establishes bonds with the secondary education centers. These are the UB-Santander Awards to the top high school research projects (TR).

Each of the seventeen faculties of the UB will have a call for the awards, so every center will select the top five TR out of the submitted ones -related to the studies that are taught in each center. Only those projects with a minimum score of 9 out of 10 (8.5 in some cases) can be submitted. A jury formed by university lecturers and presided over by the dean of the center will select the top projects according to criteria such as originality and creativity, academic rigour and relevance of the topic, among others.

The three projects to obtain the highest score in each faculty will receive an economic endowment, while the fourth and fifth positions will receive an accreditation diploma. The tutors of the awarded projects will receive a diploma and the schools they come from will receive another as well. The UB will organize a public award ceremony.

The dateline to submit projects is April 15. Please visit this link for more information and registrations.
