Mind and Identity, a new spin-off of the University of Barcelona, has created a digital tool to see the image of oneself and those that surround him/her. The company, resulting from RECORD© UB technology, created by the research group led by the lecturer Guillen Feixas, from the Department of Clinical Psychology and Psychobiology, will commercialize the online platform Explore Your Meanings (EYME). This innovative digital tool works with an automatized interview -accessible from any device with Internet access- in which the user is asked about three significant people from his/her environment. Afterwards, the results can be seen 3D or through virtual reality glasses, to achieve a totally immersive experience which causes intense emotions compared to words. This technology, applied to the field of psychology, can improve the approach of therapies.
