Joint statement on Brexit by the main European and British higher education and research organizations

CRUE Spanish Universities joins thirty university and research institutions and organizations from the United Kingdom and Europe to urge the European Commission and national governments to reach a continued collaboration agreement on the programs Europe Horizon and Erasmus+ before the Brexit transition phase ends, on December 31, 2020.

In a joint statement, CRUE, together with the other signing organizations, has committed to maintaining their current academic relations. The texts highlights that “a quick agreement will be beneficial for all and should be reached before the end of 2020, allowing the development of innovative and strong collaborations over the decades to come”.
