Last days to submit your designs to the contest Carpeta UB
The dates to submit proposals for the Carpeta UB fourteenth contest are still open. The contest will choose the design for the folder of the University of Barcelona for the next year. All students who enrolled in bachelor, master and PhD studies in UB centers during the academic year 2019/2020 can submit their design, either individually or as a team, in the UB General Registry Offices -until February 28.
The dates to submit proposals for the Carpeta UB fourteenth contest are still open. The contest will choose the design for the folder of the University of Barcelona for the next year. All students who enrolled in bachelor, master and PhD studies in UB centers during the academic year 2019/2020 can submit their design, either individually or as a team, in the UB General Registry Offices -until February 28.
Like in previous editions, the jury of the contest will select a maximum of ten finalists, and the winning design will be chosen by the members of the university community (students, teaching staff and administrative and services staff) under online voting, from the 12th to the 19th of March. The results of the contest will be announced in a public event in the Historical Building, on the 20th of March, where the prizes will be awarded.
The first prize consists on the use of the winning design to create the folder, which will be distributed to all students of the University of Barcelona. The folder will feature, inside, the name and surname of the author, and his/her status as winner of the contest. Also, the winner will receive a prize accounting for a thousand euros. In addition, there will be a second prize, accounting for three hundred euros, and a third one, accounting for two hundred euros. The other finalists will receive one hundred euros each.
