BB Collaborate, new web conferencing tool in the UB Virtual Campus
Exceptional situations require exceptional measures, and this is why the University of Barcelona worked on BB Collaborate, a tool in the UB Virtual Campus to allow its users make web conferences with the students without any need to download any external program or having to access through a non-institutional app.
What is BB Collaborate?
BB Collaborate is an online tool for live video conferences where you can add files, share applications and use online blackboards to interact. Also, it can arrange student groups if necessary.
This tool works as another activity in the UB Virtual Campus, it is very intuitive and allows registered users from a course to be online at the same time.
There are two guidelines of this tool, one in Catalan and one in Spanish, which you can find in the UB Digital Repository.
Moreover, the Blog del TÀCTIC (in Catalan) offers support and links to three webinars for the teaching staff, where experts on this tool show how it works so the lecturers can work on their online teaching tasks.
For any doubt please contact udcrai@ub.edu or the CRAI User Support Services.
